Acura MDX 2022 wins IIHS Best Safety Pick Plus award

Acura’s beautiful three-row SUV wins IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus award.

Acura recently restarted 2022 MDX SUV is the latest model to win the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s coveted Top Safety Pick Plus award, ad says made by Acura Tuesday.

As we have said many times before, get the Top Safety Pick Plus award of the IIHS is no small feat. Not only are the IIHS crash test standards more exacting than the federal National Highway Traffic Safety Administration standards, even stellar crash ratings won’t get you the prize on their own.

Another essential element of the TSPP is the inclusion of headlights deemed acceptable or better as standard equipment at all trim levels. The MDX is doing better with good marks for its LED projectors.

The IIHS also ensures that vehicles can avoid collisions, so it places a high priority on the presence of advanced or superior frontal collision avoidance systems. Acura’s standard AcuraWatch Driver Assistance Suite meets these criteria with the inclusion of Lane Keeping Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking and Adaptive Cruise Control.

The MDX 2022 is available now at Acura dealerships with a starting price of $ 47,935, including Acura’s $ 1,025 destination charge.
