Ondrej Styler (March 8)
Big Ten Athlete of the Week — Ondrej Styler was named the Big Ten Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, March 8. He earned Michigan a 4-1 victory over the No. 1 TCU last Wednesday (March 2), winning the No. 2 singles. He beat No. 16-ranked Jean Carlos Aguilar, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2. He also picked up a win at No. 1 in doubles with his partner Gavin Young, beating No. 5-ranked Luc Fomba and Jake Fearnley, 6-2. It was Styler/Young’s first time playing No. 1 doubles this season. On Saturday (March 5), Styler followed that up with a No. 1 singles win, beating Central Florida’s Lleyto Cronje 6-3, 6-1. It was his first game played at No. 1 this season as Michigan cruised to a 7-0 team win. » Big Ten Release
Andrew Fenty (March 2)
Big Ten Athlete of the Week — Andrew Fenty earned his second Big Ten Athlete of the Week honor in three weeks after helping Michigan defeat Notre Dame (February 24). He handed No.89-ranked Axel Nefve his first loss of the season as Nefve entered the game 6-0. After splitting the first two sets in singles No. 1, they went to a 10-point tiebreaker to decide the match. Nefve took a two-point, 9-7 lead, but Fenty rallied to claim five of the final six points for a 6-4, 3-6, 12-10 victory. This is Fenty’s fifth Big Ten Athlete of the Week award. » Big Ten Release

Big Ten Athlete of the Week — Andrew Fenty won the Big Ten Big Ten Athlete of the Week after beating No. 63 Olivier Stuart in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2 as Michigan edged Illinois 4-1 on Friday (February 11).
