ABU DHABI, 23 November 2021 (WAM) – Held under the high patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Council Abu Dhabi Executive and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, inaugurated Fintech Abu Dhabi 2021.
The event is organized by Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and takes place on Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi until November 24.
Following the inauguration of the event, which is the largest in the MENA region dedicated to fintech, His Highness visited the venue and witnessed the latest technologies disrupting the financial services industry.
The fifth edition of Fintech Abu Dhabi takes place as a hybrid event, welcoming leading innovators, founders, investors, executives, academics and regulators in the financial services industry.
In addition to regular annual events including Global Tour – The Search, Abu Dhabi Investment Forum, Fintech Abu Dhabi Innovation Challenge and Fintech 100, this year will also see the introduction of several new forums, including the Majlis Forum, a host of Invitational-only private conversations and forums, designed to spark debate between fintech leaders from the public and private sectors around the world.
Fintech Abu Dhabi 2021 offers a comprehensive program ranging from roundtables to fireside discussions, workshops and sessions led by leading fintech experts, focusing on key industry themes including security, investment, digital banking, entrepreneurship, sustainability and ESG, and retail, credit and payments.
