Kiwanis of Topsail Island Area Family Fun Dog Walk Fundraiser


Does Spot like to dress up? Or does Fido have a good kiss? Next, sign up for the Kiwanis of Topsail Island Area Family Dog Walk fundraiser.

You and your puppy could win one of the contests and be featured on the Paws-ibility event page. An owner / puppy walk will be held at Holly Ridge Municipal Park, 417 Kraft St. in Holly Ridge on Saturday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Fundraising will help the new local chapter of the Aktion des Kiwanis club. The chapter is the only service club for adults with disabilities, with over 12,000 members worldwide.

After:For 25 years, the nonprofit Wilmington Canines for Service has helped train and place service dogs.

The registration fee is $ 25. Register online at by May 5th to guarantee an Amazing Paws-ibility t-shirt. Entries will also be accepted in person at the event starting at 9:30 a.m., but the availability of t-shirts for same day registration will be on a first come, first served basis.

  • Longest ears

Registration for each contest is $ 5 and you can enter as many as you like. Registration for the contest can be made in cash, by check or by credit card on the day of the event.
