MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – Last minute Christmas gift shoppers have been looking for these latest items to complete their Christmas lists.
Buyers were looking for the perfect pair of shoes, the right book, or even something unexpected.
“Last minute shopping isn’t something you should plan on, the shelves are empty, you know, half the stores are closed at this point, so, yeah, don’t wait until the last minute. Manhattan resident, said Scott Stone.
Some families planned the next steps, while friends encouraged each other to keep looking until they found the perfect gift.
“I’m sure I’ll probably have more to look for, right now I have stuff for myself and not for someone else.” Topeka resident, says Kyle Kuhn.
While others were worn out from not having had a chance to find what they were looking for.
“Don’t wait until the last minute, don’t do that to your friends, and drag them like that, and then they want to stand on the side and watch you do interviews like that because they did to you, but that ‘That’s all I’ve got, Merry Christmas everyone! Manhattan resident, says Walter Carmickle.
Some of the shoppers we spoke with said last minute shopping was their habit, while others had other circumstances that prevented them from shopping earlier.
