Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Takes Three 2021 Gamescom Awards Nominations

The nominees for the 2021 Gamescom Awards have now been announced, and Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is vying for several gongs in various categories.

With a focus on upcoming titles from publishers appearing at the show, these nominees were assembled by an international jury of “game experts, journalists and content creators.” The first round of awards, all in the Platform categories, will be presented at gamescom: Opening Night Live which will be broadcast online on Wednesday, August 25 at 7 p.m. BST / 8 p.m. CEST.

Here are the nominees for the Platform categories:

Best ad – All announcements, reveals or premieres from gamescom partners at gamescom: Opening Night Live are eligible.

Better programming – All gamescom partners who submitted the gamescom award 2021 are eligible.

The best of gamescom – All Gender and Platform category winners are eligible for the Best of gamescom main prize.

Best trailer – All gamescom partner trailers that aired at gamescom: Opening Night Live are eligible.

Best streamer – Certain partner streamers and content creators are eligible for online voting.

Gamescom Most Wanted Consumer Award – Nominees in all Gender and Platform categories are eligible to vote online.

HEART OF THE GAME Prize – Every highlight of gamescom is eligible for this amazing prize: not only games, expansions and technologies, but also people, institutions, companies, concepts or terms.
