Hulu is entering the 2021 Emmy Awards with their comedy series “PEN15,” which premiered its second season last fall to rave reviews and could become the first nominee for Best Comedy Series for the streaming service. “PEN15” won an Emmy nomination in 2019 for best comic writing. This offer was for the episode “Anna Ishii-Peters” co-written by Erskine, Konkle and Stacy Osei-Kuffour. The editorial team as a whole received three industry-voted WGA Award nominations, including Best Comedy Series for Seasons 1 and 2.
